- Continue traveling North on 1-5 until you reach the Highway 12 Exit.
- Go east towards Lodi.
- Take the immediate left onto Thornton Road (frontage road past the Flying J).

- As you approach Lodi, exit East on Highway 12 toward Lodi, going under freeway.
- Take the first left onto Thornton Road (frontage road past the Flying J).
- The entrance to the CDE is approximately 1/2 mile down on the right. Watch for signs.
Motorized Vehicles & Golf Carts (IMPORTANT!)
Speed Limit:
5 MPH in the barn area
10 MPH on the paved road
Only licensed drivers may operate a motorized vehicle on the Shady Oaks property.
Unlicensed operators will result in competitor’s elimination.
Important Note: ATVs, Gators and Mules can be used only to access obstacles, not out on course.
Bikes and scooters are ok and are preferred.
Please note that no unauthorized vehicles are allowed on course or in restricted areas.
GOLF CARTS:
This year, we have contracted with Golf Cars Unlimited to handle our competitor’s golf cart needs. (209) 847-2117
If you are interested in using a cart throughout the event, please contact Golf Cars Unlimited directly. They will deliver the carts to the event. All
carts will be subject to the same rental period as they all will be delivered and picked up as a group. You will make your payment directly to Golf Cars Unlimited. There will only be gas carts available, as we do not have the facilities available to charge electric carts. Please make your reservations early, as there will be no “extra” carts available for people who do not make reservations. Contact Sergio with specific questions on the carts.
*IMPORTANT*
Per rule GR301.5.a: “Minors who do not have a valid driver’s license which allows them to operate a motorized vehicle in the state in which they reside will not be permitted to operate a motorized vehicle of any kind, including, but not limited to golf carts, motorcycles, scooters, or farm utility vehicles on the competition grounds of licensed competitions.” In addition, our insurance company prohibits us from allowing any person under the age of 18 to operate a golf cart or other motorized vehicle, regardless of whether or not they have a license. Penalties may include exclusion of the child, parent, guardian, and/or trainer from the competition grounds for the remainder of the competition. These rules apply regardless of permitted uses allowed by Golf Cars Unlimited. Please consult your rulebook for details on penalties for violation of this rule and other specific language relative to this matter.
